Ifad Motors, a local manufacturer of Royal Enfield Motorcycles, has set up a state-of-the-art production facility under its management at Chouddagram, Comilla. Royal Enfield's 350 cc bike will be launched in Bangladesh on October 21.

Earlier, in September last year, the Ministry of Home Affairs permitted to drive motorcycles up to 350 cc on the road. As a result, high CC bikes get an opportunity to enter the country's market.

Ifad Autos will market four models of Royal Enfield 350cc bikes in the Bangladesh market. These are - Royal Enfield Hunter, Classic, Bullet and Meteor. Among these, the most popular and least expensive would be the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It is the company's best-selling bike in the Indian market. Royal Enfield has sold more than 1 lakh Hunter 350 there in just 6 months.
